Privacy Policy

1. Who I am

This website is the personal communications portfolio of Mostafa Aminul Hassan (“I”, “me”), based in Tampere, Finland. I am the controller of any personal data described in this policy. You can reach me at hello@mostafaportfolio.com or mahassan.dinar@gmail.com.

2. What data I collect

This is a portfolio site. It has no user accounts, no contact forms and no advertising or tracking tools.

I only receive personal data when you contact me yourself, for example by email, phone, WhatsApp or LinkedIn. That may include your name, contact details and whatever you choose to write in your message.

3. How I use your data

To reply to your enquiry or discuss a possible project.
To keep a record of professional correspondence.
To meet legal or accounting obligations, if they apply.

I do not sell your data and I do not use it for automated decision-making.

4. Legal basis

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), I process your data on the basis of my legitimate interest in answering professional enquiries, and, where you ask me to take steps before entering into an agreement, on the basis of that request.

5. Cookies and browser storage

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser remembers your light or dark mode choice in its local storage, and the site may use technical cookies needed to deliver pages and caching. None of this identifies you personally. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

6. Third-party services

To work, the site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google may receive technical data such as your IP address. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

Some portfolio pieces link to or play videos from external platforms (YouTube, Google Drive, LinkedIn, WhatsApp). Once you follow a link or press play, that service’s own privacy policy applies, and I am not responsible for it.

7. Sharing and transfers

I do not share your messages with others except where needed to run email or messaging services, or where the law requires it. Those providers may process data outside the EU/EEA under appropriate safeguards.

8. How long I keep data

I keep correspondence only as long as needed for the purpose it was sent for, and then delete it or keep it only where the law requires.

9. Your rights

You may ask me to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to its use, or to receive a copy of it. Email me and I will respond within a reasonable time, normally within one month.

You also have the right to complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi) or to your local supervisory authority.

10. Security

I take reasonable steps to protect the data I hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information by email or messaging.

11. Children

This site is not aimed at children, and I do not knowingly collect their personal data.

12. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
